“I must tell the story of the personal picture you see of me and my son. It is not the typical mainstream picture you would see on a professional business website like this one. The reason for this? I am not your typical woman, this isn’t your typical business, and I am NOT your typical Coach. Please take a moment and get a glimpse into the life of Brenda Underwood the person.
This picture of my son and I was taken in New York City at the Lincoln Center. He is an avid violinist and vocalist. On New Year’s Eve, they had two, four-time Grammy award-winning jazz singers performing with the New York Philharmonic. This was my gift to him for his 16th birthday. He was very pleased to be in a place he had never been before, at a performance he had never seen. At the tender young at of 11, he had a vision of this day and this was a dream come true.
Who am I?
A single mother that has defied the odds and achieved what others have always said was impossible. An overcomer of suicidal depression. Yes, I spent most of my teenage years and early adulthood hating my life. Oh, BUT GOD! Now I know, I am a daughter of the Most High King, a child of royalty, and deeply loved by the Creator of the universe. I get the honor of being the business owner of Breakthrough for Life LLC where we break through difficult barriers in unique ways.
When you get a breakthrough for life, you will experience the fruit of that breakthrough for the rest of your life. I do not look for temporary fixes or band-aid solutions. I seek to tap into the knowledge of an all-knowing God and stand on the promises of an all-powerful Creator.
BtFL is founded on 2 Samuel 5:20, “The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.” This is my desire for every one of my clients. I diligently pray for the Holy Spirit to impart wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in every coaching session. The goal is always to bring glory to His name. When you glorify His name, He will reveal the power of His might to break through every barrier in your life and provide you with rivers of living water to refresh every dry place.
