What do you think of when you hear the phrase, “Vaulted Diamonds”?
- Not Common
Oh no, no, no! Vaulted diamonds aren’t for the common buyer because they aren’t common diamonds. They are special and rare diamonds. These diamonds have the best color, clarity, cut, and carat weight. Their brilliance outshines all the rest! Vaulted diamonds are only shown to a qualified buyer that has been fully vetted by the shop owner (jeweler).
The shop owner has already established the quality and value of the diamond in the buyer’s mind before it is ever presented. When the buyer lays eyes on the vaulted diamond he immediately sees why it was not on display for all to see. Not everyone would appreciate the brilliance of its beauty, the clarity of its color and how it had been cut to perfection for light to shine through. The confidence in its unique shine, unquestioned by mankind, sparks love in the buyer’s heart.
The shop owner knew which buyer was worthy of such a rare gem. He knew who would appreciate and value the vaulted diamond, purchasing it without question.
You Beloved are that rare diamond! Jesus is your Shop Owner and you are precious in His sight. Not every guy will appreciate the pressure you have endured to become the multifaceted gem you are today. The key is for you to know your worth and just how valuable you are to Him. To the Shop Owner, your beauty (inside and out) is to die for, more valuable than all the gold in the world.
As vessels of free will you can decide to be treated as common cubic zirconia; mistreated and discarded like a cheap imitation. You are free to determine the vault is to lonely a place for you to sit and wait. You can decide to settle for the first passerby OR, you can decide to trust the Shop Owner who is constantly looking out for your best interest.
You can enjoy the fullness of His love for you while allowing it to validate and define your worth.
In the meantime, enjoy life to the fullest. Knowing you are the apple of His eye, the object of His affection and that He delights in the prosperity of His children.
“Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.” 1 Timothy 6:17 NKJV
“Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Psalm 35:27 NKJV
Don’t be like Eve, who overlooks all she was given in the garden and fixated on the one tree she was forbidden to eat the fruit thereof. Fix your eyes on all that has been abundantly given to you. Appreciate every breath given to you from above because only the Creator gives life, purpose, and peace.
I have yet to marry and have spent many years frustrated in my singleness. Even to the point of being mad at God. (Yeah, I admitted it. I’m not one of those perfect Christians. I’m the one that needs JESUS.)
In 2018 when my engagement fell apart, I had to take a good, deep, look within. I asked myself, “Why did you allow these things to transpire in your life?” The truth was I was tired of waiting. So, I stopped and entertained the first half-decent guy that came along. I followed his lead right off the side of a cliff. NO MORE!
As painful as that relationship was for me, I am thankful for every moment of it. It allowed me to seek out the help I needed to get the healing my soul longed to receive.
At that moment I could let that relationship define me or grow me. It was my choice to allow it to be a catalyst to my greatest growth.
It allowed me to get to the place where Jesus’ love was more than enough. I am whole, healed, and never alone. Until the time my Shop Owner decides to present me to a husband that can appreciate all Jesus has made me to be, I AM HAPPY in my singleness for the first time in my life.
You may be able to snag a man (that’s not your God ordained husband), but are you happy? You can live a happy and fulfilled life right where you are NOW! Happiness is an inside job and nothing outside of you can fill your soul with joy like the One on the inside of you.
“Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4b
I hear the Father saying, “Shine brilliantly my beautiful vaulted diamonds because the wait does not diminish my glory that shines through you!”
