Treasure Tuesdays Breakthrough

Treasure Tuesdays Expect a Breakthrough

EXPECT BREAKTHROUGH! In life, we often get what we expect. That is why negative outlooks are so dangerous because they produce a fruit we rarely want to eat. I want to encourage you today to adjust your expectations. It is easy to grow weary in waiting for things to change but don’t lose hope. Hope doesn’t disappoint!

I often pray 2 Samuel 5:20 over all the people I get an opportunity to serve. I ask the Holy Spirit to be stirred up in every believer’s life and empower them to get a breakthrough in the areas they have struggled with for years.

“The Lord has broken through my enemies before me like a breakthrough of water.” 2 Samuel 5:20 NKJV

Not a PASS THROUGH but a BREAKTHROUGH that will last for the rest of their life and continues for a thousand generations.

We can expect a breakthrough like the Hebrews received when they left Egypt. The Lord broke through the Red Sea and the Hebrews walked across on dry land.

This is the kicker though.

The same water He broke through to save them was the SAME WATER that consumed their enemies.

There have been things, people, and situations you have been struggling with for years.

There have been internal struggles in your mind that you have battled with for years.

There have been financial struggles in your life for generations.

Your bloodline has had a history of cancer, diabetes, and arthritis.

Your bloodline has had a history of divorce, infidelity, and unhappy marriages.

We have been so conditioned to expect the worse that maybe it is time for us to EXPECT THE BEST!

I pray you will go into this new season expecting God to show His Glory to you in new ways.

Expect the best and trust the process.

“In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.” Psalm 91:12-13 NKJV
